Education Group Membership

My name is Michelle Clark and I have been in the photography industry for almost 9 years! I am finally beginning my journey in to mentoring/education!

So what are you signing up for? Well, that is hard to put in a short amount of words. Although this is already getting pretty wordy. What I want to start is an online education group. It will be primarily focused on newborns, at least initially, but I will cover lots of other things. My brain needs to be engaged and excited. I need to have spontaneity and try new things. I think that's why I never stuck to a specific little niche in photography. So this group my be a little spontaneous itself.

Live newborn sessions quarterly and I will do live editing sessions. I want to connect with all my students and take more specific requests of what you want to learn, and incorporate that in to all my lives! We will cover other types of sessions live as we go, but I am primarily focusing on building newborn content for the first few months. You will also receive free actions and presets created by myself and the actual tools I use when I edit!

I want to find out what things my students already have and teach them to use those rather than having to purchase everything I use to try and get results you want. I want to teach you to be able to work in any circumstances. I want to make this a community where we can also talk about mental health and uplift each other in addition to learning and growing.

I will cover lighting, posing, camera settings, styling, prepping parents, editing... everything I know! I can tell you that I will not be a great source for learning how to be organized, grow your social media, marketing etc. But for the skill and creativity part, I can be your person! Obviously, I have had some success with those things I mentioned I am not great at, and I would be more than happy to share my knowledge and experience there, but this will not be the focus.

I am not really sure what to call this other than an education group. It will initially mostly consist of live videos, and heck, I'll be winging it for the most part initially. You will probably have to deal with some bumps in the road as I get more comfortable being on live videos and teaching. I may be all over the place sometimes. But that could add some excitement to it all! You will have lifetime access to the group. You are welcome to screen record and save the live videos, but no sharing anything outside the group.

I hope this explains what my vision is. I obviously don't have an extremely detailed itinerary, but I think that might the fun of it! I have included a variety of different samples of my work, as you can see, I can go all over the place. Warm and earthy, bright and fun, cake smash, maternity, different lighting styles... I shoot outdoor, families, all kinds of things. And I would like to share all of that with you! If you have any questions before committing, please reach out!
